The Background
The Company was established in 2004 by Claire Love. After 10 years in retail at store, district, regional and head office levels (Sainsburys and Homebase.co.uk) and running her own property portfolio, Claire saw gap in the market and established 'Local Web Solutions' - a web design agency that would provide excellent customer service and not confuse its customers with techno babble - and most importantly was run by people who understood business itself - not just web programming or design.
With networking at it's heart, 90% of all business came from recommendation and the company grew fast. In 2005, Julian, previously webmaster at Homebase.co.uk, joined as Technical Director. In 2008, customer demand for the same outstanding service they had received for their websites led to the introduction of design, print and marketing services under the LWS Creative banner.
The Company Today
LWS and Local Web Solutions continued to grow organically and quickly. Today it consists of a talented team of 10 individuals and a number of expert partner companies and looks after over 300 businessess - predominantly owner managed - from offices at Chalk Springs, Arundel, West Sussex.
In July 2010 the company rebranded to be known just as 'LWS Creative' but the Local Web Solutions ethic and principles hold strong. We are proud to say that our referral statistics have not changed since our founding - over 90% of our business still comes to us thanks to our existing clients and contacts recommending us.
In September 2010 LWS received private investment to support it's plans for growth - including the acquisition of another agency in early 2012.
LWS listens to its customers and knows their needs and requirements, and is always looking to add to its range of client services - most recently a range of essential training services which are ideal for all size businesses and encompass a wide range of crucial topics, including social media marketing, a must have for many businesses in today's modern business climate.
